Tent Flap

A tent flap keeps the noise of the midway outside. This is how we keep what you tell us from leaving the tent.

What we keep

  • Your entry card: email, a scrambled password, your first name, the day you were born, gender, and the things you put on your sash.
  • Your chats and each titleholder’s notes on you, so she can remember.
  • A session cookie, and one recording that you passed the height-check at the gate.
  • Payment entries hold the amount and the transfer ID. Cards are not accepted, so none can ever be seen.
  • The usual server logs, which we throw away quickly.

What we do with it

We hold this so the chat runs, the rules bite and the fair stays open. Messages travel to a model that we run ourselves, or to a supplier held by matching terms, and a safety routine skims them. Chats are never sold, and advertisers never glimpse one.

Counting heads

One basic counter reports how many people turn up and from which country. It has no way to read your messages.

What you control

From the menu of any chat you can amend her notes, keep a copy of the exchange or wipe it. Shutting the whole account takes a note to the fair office from the address on it. Does your own law give you more? Say which parts and we will honour them.
