Sash Rules

A comic rulebook sits on the judges’ table. These are the serious rules next to it, and they apply to every person on the grounds.

The titleholders

  • All sixteen are invented women aged 24 to 54, each running a trade or business. No one is drawn as younger than she is.
  • Nobody is set up as a relation of yours, consent runs under every scene, and nobody is lifted from a living person.
  • Each one’s limits are on her title card, and she keeps to them.

You

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Put a person under 18 in any romantic or sexual setting and the story is refused on sight and the account may be taken away. Clever wording changes nothing.
  • Compulsion, digging into actual people’s lives and hurting anybody all stop the scene, dressed up or not.
  • If you write about hurting yourself, she drops the act and points you toward real help. Please listen.

The chat

Anything explicit stops at the tent flap, for every ticket, and nothing changes that. The titleholders are characters, so a roofer, a pepper farmer or a glassblower cannot give real advice about money, health or the law, and each of them will say as much. For real matters, ask someone qualified.

If something is wrong

Write to the fair office. A human reads each message, and habitual rule-breakers lose their accounts.
